Trying to impress Emmy, Steve says that he is going to quit his job at Wilde Oil on his first day at the office. Meanwhile, Puddle gets some unexpected help on the science fair project, and Fa'ad gets locked in a vodka cellar.

What do you guys think of the latest episode? I had my doubts in the first two episodes, but I find this episode hilarious. Some of my favorite lines:

Would you like a glass of Forget Juice?

I use a lot of money to fight my gambling addiction. I really feel I'm one big win away from finding a cure

    Also, I read this article:

which shed some light into why this show can be uneven.

I think this show isn't as terrible and unfunny as people make it out to be, and 1although its improved since the first episode, its not like viewers who gave up BECAUSE of the first episode are gonna magically return, so it saddens me that this show will probably get cancelled. I feel like the two main unfunny parts of this show is 1. Puddle and 2. That there is no sub/side-character that is freakin' hilarious. For example: Senor Chang on Community, Tobias on Arrested Development. The character on this show would be Steve's rich foreign neighbor friend(his name escapes me) except for he's not funny at all.

I've seen all 3 episodes and this show has got to go. It's just not funny and very dull. Why keep watching?

You know, since Fox seems to want a simple comedy, I do wonder why they approached the creator of AD, a show known for its complex, humor within humor storyline, instead of say, Chuck Loree.

I like this show, but I think that it won't survive because of the stuff about the enviornment, and whatnot. People don't want to know about that stuff really. The reason I started watching this show is because Keri Russell is hot, and it's been good watching it but I don't see a bright future for this show because of the subject matter. Watch it while you can.

    Pros
    - Keri russell and Will arnett's chemistry is definitely getting better.
    - Paul Shaffer's cameo was pretty hilarious. Its good to know that Hurwitz and Co. still know how to make a funny celebrity cameo.
    - I thought the Fa'ad subplot of him getting stuck in the vodka cellar was just filler, but it turned out to be a 30 Rock-esque metaphor at the end that brought Emmy to her senses too though. Great writing on thier part.
    - Some clever arrested development wordplay here and there "its an aquired taste like condor.....ments. Man, I luurve condorments." and "Yes, but that was when we were talking about getting rid of And...... Andeed I did. And you should go andvestigate."
    - I love Migo's dry and subtle performance. I wish they gave him more to do.

    CONS
    - Enough with the Arrested development comparisons (I'm freezing my blue man group). its pretty depressing.
    - I think the main problem with Puddle's narration is that its way too intrusive. like when Andy said "and we cant waste tax dollars cuz we're little girls!" Puddle narrates "little girls would never say that!" It just ruins the flow and is quite annoying. Now, if they made the narration less intrusive OR feel less intrusive, Then I can forsee Puddle's narration being a real comedic tool.
    - I wish they made the office storyline an actual story arc instead of just an episode. that had real potential.

SO yeah, better than the pilot, but worse than the 2nd episode. Knowing Fox, this Show is **** doomed. we'll be lucky if we get to see all 13 episodes.
