Kenshin decides to cut through a forest, hoping to shake Misao off his trail. Misao stubbonrly follows him, and shows him that it means everything to her to find out where Aoshi is. While going through the forest, Kenshin and Misao stumble upon a young man who is dying from countless sword wounds he had received. Clutching a small, unconcious boy in his bleeding arms, he begs Kenshin to take care of the boy. When the boy regains conciousness, he discovers his brother, the young man, dead.moreless

  • Another perfect episode, I absolutely loved it...

    This episode was magnificent. Saito really sparked my interest in this episode. Him using Gotetsu through the guy's mouth like that, huge shock right there. And the way he described how humans were ever so vulnerable to death and how they would throw away pride to stay alive, very deep. Misao was very cool in this episode as well, I loved the beggining when she threw the kunai through the pit viper to get Kenshin's attention. Hilarious! She's still stubborn as ever though, leading that little boy into combat like that! I also felt so sorry for the little boy, seeing his parents hanged and chopped up like that, so much blood! It was heartbreaking, really... I can't wait for the next episode! So much suspense!moreless
