That's the reason it has to appeal to babies or retards. They're the only people other than anime aficiandos who watch CN. You're probably best off with the DVDs anyway.

If it weren't all about money we might get back Kenshin and YuYu Hakusho and maybe even a good anime or two every year. Right now I'm into Samurai Champloo, which is Adult Swim grade goodness, so it'll stay for a while.

With the DVDs, at least you can get the uncut anime, not the CN butcher job.

Yep, I've got the real Kenshin on DVD and the uncut movies. CN would never show the movies because they really would suck without the blood or the langauge, and I'm not saying that because I love to see people die and hear them curse, but it adds to the realism of what the Bakumatsu (or final days of the Meaji Revoultion) was like.

I'm not too into Naruto, I have all the comisc of it because I get Shonen Jump (available nwo for 29.99$ , get all your favorites from YuYu Hakusho to Yu-Gi-Oh every mont), but its not like I'm gonna sell it to you (hehehehehe). Also, I notice anubis that you are new to Tv.com (due to the fact that at this point when I'm posting you have 20 posts). I say welcome and visit us at kenshin's home whenever.

Yea, the peak of anime on TV and especially CN was 2001, anyone else remember what it was like? You had Toonami for 2 hours every weekday afternoon/evening, Midnight Run on M-W and I think Friday too?, Adult Swim Th and Su with Bebop for an hour each, and Saturday Entertainment system which was like a solid 7 hour block of anime. And all the good shows were still on the air. That's like 23 hours of quality anime programmimg every week.

Nowadays, you're lucky to get 5 hours of not-so-quality anime a week out of CN. Sad what they did to their own network.

If they do start it over again, the should start with the second season (when Saioth first shows up), because they've only gotten that far into it once.

Sigh...they'll never bring back Kenshin. No one will watch it out of fear that it'll be taken off again before it gets to the good parts.

I agree. It's one of the shows that doesn't just have mindless action.
