Recurring Role |
Yumi: Aoshi Shinomori.
Shishio: Oh, I had totally forgotten. I still have one failure hanging around.
Shishio: In the end, only the fittest survive in this world.
Kenshin: Those same words...
Shishio: I was the one who engraved those words into Soujiro's head. But, those words don't just describe swordsmanship. It is a law dictated by the natural order of things.
Shishio: (after using the Guren Kaina on Kenshin) What? Is he dead already? That's it, huh? He didn't even use his succesion technique. Shit! That was a waste.
Shishio: (To Sanosuke) Before you decide to face me, you should have tried to bridge the apparent and OBVIOUS gap in our skills and power.
Aoshi: (To Shishio) The end has not been written, and the title of strongest has not been bestowed.
The full title of this episode is The Age Chooses Shishio? Kenshin's Greatest Crisis.
This episode was the gathering of swordsmen, who have different views all, to defeat the great evil known as Makoto Shisio. With Kenshin, Saitoh, and Sano badly injuried it seems that there is no hope for the "weak" who are now beginning to live peaceful lives in the Meiji Era. But one remains, Aoshi, Aoshi Shinomori. Even though he is badly hurt by Kenshin's attack, he will not let Japan fall to the likes of Shisio.
