A foreign prince is attacked by bandits. As Kenshin and Kaoru are returning from a play, they see this and Kenshin intervenes. During the attack the prince was injured, so Kenshin and Kaoru take them back to the dojo. As it turns out, Prince Shin looks exactly like Yahiko, and so Yahiko is put in his place to attend a banquet. At the banquet the bandits attack yet again, but our favorite samuai is there to protect Yahiko, along with Sanosuke.moreless

      • Yahiko: Manners? What the heck is that? Is that supposed to be some sort of jewelry I have to wear?

      • Kenshin: Fighting this elderly man three against one is rather unfair, don't you think?

      • Kaoru: I got so caught up in that play that I lost track of time. I have to say that I haven't had this much fun in a long time! Kenshin: I'm glad to hear that you're having a good time. Kaoru: You almost make it sound like you weren't even there, did you enjoy the play Kenshin? Kenshin: Well I was a little pre-occupied with what I need to prepare for tonights dinner so I couldn't concentrate. Kaoru: So what exactly are you trying to say Kenshin? Are you saying that the whole time I was next to you the only thing you were thinking about was cooking dinner!?

      • Sanosuke: We did go through a lot in Kyoto, so it's nice to be able to relax and go see a play every so often. Don't you think so Yahiko? Yahiko: Yeah, right! I don't have anytime to train because I gotta take care of the chores in Kenshin's place, thanks to that play. Sanosuke: Quit the bellyaching, Yahiko. Just do the laundry and think of it as part of your training.
