I have so many reasons why this episode earns a ten. First, I loved Kenshin's quote "The rain has stopped, that it has". Oh my gosh, that was hilarious!!! It was also hilarious seeing Misao trying to fight Kenshin! Kenshin looked hilarious dodging all her attacks and everything. I also love Misao's fighting style, it's sorta like a ninja! I also like her persistence and how dedicated she is to Aoshi, he must've really had a good influence on her because she jumped over that cliff when she knew she couldn't do it because she thought even she had a small chance. The only thing slighty strange was Kenshin's super jump after he and Misao fell, but he is the Battousai, so whatever. Ugh, I loved this episode! And this review is probably the only review in which I have used to many exclamation marks! So, it was a tremendous episode.moreless
First appearance of Makimachi Misao, of the Kyoto Oniwabanshu. She meets Kenshin while she's looking for Aoshi... not knowing that Kenshin knows the fates of Aoshi and the Oniwabanshu.
Edit
Kenshin: Time to stop playing tag.
Misao: What are you talking about? It's just begun!
Edit
Kenshin: Charging attacks from light people aren't very effective, so even if you hit...
Misao: I was just trying to gauge my opponent! Next time I'll be serious, you might die!
Edit
Misao: Did your wife run away from you?
Kenshin: I'm not married!
Miaso: It's a joke, just a joke.
