  • Who can save Yahiko now...?

    9.8
Oh my gosh, the whole scythe swinging queer thing was HILARIOUS!!! Yahiko said he was prettier than Misao and Kaoru, and he said that a GUY was prettier than them, r o f l l m a o ! ! ! Their faces were all blank and it was so funny! Hah hah hah! So, now that the humour was over, Yahiko is going one on one against Henya, but can he win when he's fighting someone with dynamite and when he's in the sky? Will someone save him? Or will it be too late? I also wonder how Kaoru and Misao will fare against that scythe swinging queer will Kaoru be any use, because they can't pull in close? Or will they use superior teamwork to best their opponent? Next episode this will be revealed... hopefully.

Kenshin and Aoshi really had a nice fight going there, I wonder if Aoshi will ever have that wound healed, I mean, seriously. It looked pretty bad, but if Kenshin hadn't use a reverse-blade sword I guess it would've killed him. So it was an awesome episode, can't wait for the next one!!!moreless

    • (After Aoshi tells him that the outcome would have been different if only he turned a second earlier)
Kenshin: No. You're wrong about that. Because what happens here is up to me, you have no say in the matter. The slight difference of a second will be there the next time, and the time after that. Because i do not fight out of desperation. I fight to live, not to kill. That's the difference between you and me. That's the secret.

    • Misao: (about Kamatari) So then, it's not a scythe woman, it's...
Yahiko, Misao, and Kaoru:...IT'S A GUY??!!!

  • NOTES (5)

    • The Japanese title of the episode is Now is the Time to Awaken - True and Final Outcome!

    • -Kamatari, who looks like an attractive woman, is actually a man. Yahiko says "she" is sexier that Kaoru and Misao. Kamatari says Yahiko could be sexy too, with the right "training"... and they all realize that "the scythe woman" is, in fact, a "scythe queer". Misao is extremely mad that a guy was considered prettier than her.

    • The full English title of this episode is Wake Up Now! Ignore Your Wounds And Fight To The Finish!

    • During the battle, Yumi sneaks away and using Houji's telegraph machine, relys details of the battle to Shishio. When Kenshin uses the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, she can't tell them what happens because it was too fast. Soujiro concludes that it was a form of battoujutsu.

    • Kenshin uses the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki for the first time in a combat situation on Aoshi.
