Episode Summary

EDIT
When she's forced to attend a family affair on Halloween, Sabrina sends a clone to Harvey's party, where the simple-minded stand-in (who can only speak three sentences) agrees to streak naked in order to liven up the festivities. Meanwhile, the real Sabrina desperately tries to ditch her relatives: an obnoxious socialite and her brat of a daughter, whose hobby is putting people she dislikes into jars.moreless

  • what a brat

    9.5
loved the episode! the double thing was really funny, she was really stupid but oh well. i thought it was sweet when harvey got upset that she was going to streak, maybe he likes her too? one can only hope. libby was mean as normal though i almost felt sorry for her when they thought that she streaked but then i was like hey she was doing that to sabrina so who cares. the talking to a love one was sweet though when she told her granny that she was a witch her granny seemed not to believe her and im thinking why would she be doubtful? i mean she is talking to her granddaughter when she is already dead but whatever. her cusin was a huge brat! putting people in jars. though it was kinda funny how mean she was. her mom was a total snob too but it was funny in the end when they found out. 'im going to be just like you!' pretty funny and i was glad that in the end amanda was put in a jar.moreless
  • Halloween clones

    9.1
It's all Hallow's Eve and Sabrina is invited to Harvey's party. Unfortunately, Zelda plans to make Sabrina come with them to a family reunion. Salem suggests that Sabrina make a clone of herself, and sends her clone to Harvey's party until she gets there. Sabrina suggests sending the clone to the family party, but Salem tells her that her aunts are more likely to notice because the clones can only use three phrases. Hilda also makes a copy of herself, and Zelda twigs immediately. The party starts out being pure hell when Sabrina is sat next to an extremely spoiled cousin who puts everyone she doesn't like into a small glass jar. Things improve considerably when Sabrina is given a reanimation gift card and has to decide on a dead person she'd really like to see again. Unfortunately, Libby is leading her clone astray at the party.moreless

  • TRIVIA (3)

  • QUOTES (9)

    • M'Lady: Salem, you're the only one that understands me.
Salem: Yeah... but it doesn't mean I care.

    • (After Hilda and Zelda open up their Halloween gifts and noticed they got each other the exact same thing.)
Zelda: We've been living together way too long.

    • Harvey: Man, this party is boring! I'd leave if it weren't my own.
Libby: We're going to solve that, Sabrina's going to streak!

    • Sabrina: Double, double, toil and trouble.
Salem: You know, Shakespeare stole that from us. What a hack.
      Sabrina: Hey, it didn't work!
      Salem: Step aside.

    • (After coming down the stairs and hearing the aunts singing Halloween Carols)
Sabrina: What are you doing to Salem? I heard him screaming.

    • Marigold: (To Hilda and Zelda after Sabrina opens her present) You got her a reanimation? Those can be very pricey.
      Amanda: I want a reanimation, I want a reanimation!

    • Hilda's double: Lets get this show on the road!
      Zelda: You look nice, Hilda.
      Hilda's double: Pass the potatoes!
Salem: Wow, someone's in a hurry.
      Hilda's double: Happy Halloween!
Zelda: Hold on... What color is my dress?
      Hilda's double: Pass the potatoes?
Zelda: Hilda! You are in big trouble!
      Hilda: Stupid double!
Zelda: Am I the only one looking forward to this?
      Salem, Sabrina, Hilda: Yes!

    • Marigold: Oh God, I'm going to be just like you!
      (She runs away, crying)
Zelda: Oh Hilda, we just made her cry.
Hilda: Oh, how awful we must feel. Let's go.

    • Sabrina: You can't just put everyone you don't like in jars.
Amanda: That's what my counselor said. So I put him in a jar.

  • NOTES (3)

    • Jenny and Mr. Pool don't appear in this episode (even though one of the sentences the double is programmed to say is "Mr. Pool can be so annoying").

    • Amanda is based on a character from the comic books called Esmerelda. She is the last TV character to be taken from the comic books.

    • Emily Hart, Melissa's sister, will appear in subsequent episodes as Sabrina's bratty cousin Amanda.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Title: A Halloween Story. This is a reference to the cult classic 1983 movie, A Christmas Story, starring Peter Billingsley as Ralphie.
