Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • One of the people in the cat show was a parody of James Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who has the same type of cat as seen in this episode.

    • Sabrina initially assumes Salem's last name is Spellman, then he corrects her by saying he is "her cat, not [her] pet".

Shouldn't it be obvious to Sabrina that Salem's last name would be different from hers, considering he is a man-turned-cat?

    • How could Sabrina (in cat form) be proclaimed winner of the competition? After all, she was never officially entered, she could have just been a stray cat.

    • In this episode Bob Gordan compares Sabrina to Diane Sawyer. Sabrina eventually becomes interested in journalism in later episodes.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Harvey: She named her cat Sabrina? Doesn't that get confusing around the house?
Hilda: It's a pretty confusing place in general.

    • Sabrina is a cat, trapped in a cage.
Sabrina: Salem, this is awful! If I can't point, I can't change myself back! What was that?
      Salem: What?
Sabrina: There's something in here with me!
      Salem: What?
Sabrina: Oh, it's just my tail...

    • Zelda: Available at Full Moon Beauty Supply...
      Hilda: Let's go!
Zelda: We can't. Full Moon Beauty Supply only opens once a month.
      Hilda: When?
      Zelda: During the full moon...
      Hilda: I knew that!
