In this episode, Valerie is able to see the Quizmaster. However in "Five Easy Pieces of Libby" (season 2 episode 14), the Quizmaster is invisible to Sabrina's friend. So either this is a continuity error, or the Quizmaster is able to control who sees him and when.
In this episode the Quizmaster assigns Sabrina to brew a potion that can turn herself into an animal and another potion that will change her back.
Sabrina's hotel room number is 346.
At the end of this episode Mr. Kraft tells Tootie that Edvard Munch is from Sweden, but he is really from Norway.
Libby: Valerie, where is Harvey? Valerie: I don't know. Libby: You keep saying that... Valerie: That's cause I keep not knowing.
Mr. Kraft (to a group of students): Ladies and gentleman, this is a school-funded field trip, not an excuse to have fun...
Sabrina: Why is it that cool people never show any emotion? I mean, no matter how great the situation, they never seem like they have fun... Valerie: I know... Why can't I be like them? Sabrina: Because you have blood in your veins...
Quizmaster: I'm here to inform you that you can expect a very big witch exam sometime soon. Sabrina: It doesn't involve changing the Earth's orbit, does it? Because the last time I tried that, a little thing called El Niño happened...
Mr. Kraft: What is this obsession you young people have with joy?
Sabrina (about Libby): Why are you hanging out with her? Valerie: She wanted to hang out with me. Sabrina: No seriously, why?
Harvey: We are now approaching Hippo River. The Hippopotamus are among the most aggressive animals in the jungle. Fortunately our Harambee therapist are working with them to channel their anger.
Libby: Where's Harvey? Valerie: That's amazing! I was just wondering the same thing!
Hilda (after buying souvenir mugs at the gift shop): They didn't have Zelda, so I got Pam!
Sabrina: I'm looking for Valerie and I happen to know she's a real zebra fanatic. It's a real problem, there are no support groups. Gotta go! Mr. Kraft: The girl is lying! There are support groups for everything.
Salem: Macadamia nuts from the mini-bar. Especially tasty when they're your third jar and someone else is paying for them. (Sabrina enters, causing Salem to cry out in surprise) Some squirrels broke in! I'm just tidying up. Back so soon? Sabrina: Yeah, I still need one more plant for my second potion but I thought I'd come back and see if Valerie was still here so that I could apologize. (looking at the empty coffee jug) What happened to my potion? Salem: Oh, Valerie took it. Sabrina: And you didn't stop her? Salem: Yeah, like I'm going to put down an overpriced chocolate bar just to yell at Valerie. Get real!
Harvey: I'm Harvey and I'll be your guide as we tour the Harambee Wild Life Reserve. Please keep your arms inside the vehicle and enjoy the ride. And if anyone has a pacemaker or smells like fresh meat, let me know.
Sabrina: Libby, the Jungle Cruise wants its shrunken head back. Oh, I'm sorry! That's your actual head!
Hilda: I am so glad we're chaperoning this trip to Disneyworld. I love Splash Mountain more than life itself. What's your favourite part? Zelda: There's a paleontological dig at the new Animal Kingdom theme park and it just sounds fascinating! Hilda: Only you could make the happiest place on earth sound dry and clinical.
Salem: I should have known Disney wouldn't be cat friendly. Why else would the star attraction be a giant mouse?
(After giving Mr. Kraft a hug and kiss) Valerie: I wish I were a cool person so I could make fun of me right now.
Sabrina was one of many TGIF shows that took a trip to Disney World (to plug the infamous park); Family Matters, Full House, Step by Step and Boy Meets World--to name some--took a crew to Orlando as well.
Sabrina: Because the last time I tried that, a little thing called El Niño happened... El Niño is a global coupled ocean-atmosphere phenomenon. The Pacific ocean signatures, El Niño and La Niña are important temperature fluctuations in surface waters of the tropical Eastern Pacific Ocean. The name El Niño, from the Spanish for "the little boy", refers to the Christ child, because the phenomenon is usually noticed around Christmas time in the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of South America.
Disney World is a group of theme parks in Florida themed around Disney films and characters.
