  • Season 1, Episode 6.

Not a bad episode. I don't really like how stupid the show can be sometimes with the writing. I liked this episode, though. Melissa Joan Hart can look pretty good at times, though. I liked the beginning.

Sasha: I don't understand how everyone is going to be able to dance with all these tables in the way.

Libby: We'll move the tables, Sasha.

I like Libby so much. "This is a dance. Guess what we do here!" LOL! I really have no opinion on Sabrina's girlfriends (Jenny, Valerie...). They're not the best characters in history. I wonder why Jenny left, though. Oh well, cool episode.moreless
  • Men made of "Man Dough"

With a bit of help from Jenny, Sabrina manages to ask Harvey whether he's going to the dance. When he says he isn't planning to, Sabrina is a bit disappointed. When Libby asks him and he says yes, she gets rather upset. Harvey confesses to Sabrina that he has difficulty saying "no". Relating the sorry tale to her aunts, they decide to bake her a dream date to go with her to the dance, one "Man Dough"... She's really impressed with the results and decides to go after all. Things go extremely well at the party until Sabrina notices Harvey, who's having a really rotten time. Meanwhile, the two aunts are cooking up their own dates out of "Man Dough"; unfortunately it doesn't go so well, particularly for Hilda who accidentally uses ingredients which are well past their best before date... her date ends up as a self-centered sports freak with no saving graces at all.moreless
  • sabrina makes a man

    9.5
how cool is this!?!?! making your own dream guy!! majorly cool! and her guy was so cute and sweet! though hilda's and zelda's could have used some work. but on the whole im glad she still likes harvey and good news is he likes her back!! yay! to bad nothing will happen with them for a while. yea i thought harvey was a bad dancer.
  • ever wished you could make your own man well thats exactly what hilda and zelda do to help out sabrina :)

    9.2
this was a verry funny episode. sabrina gets unset when libby persuades harvey to go to the dance with her when sabrina wanted to go with him, so she decides not to go to the dance at all, hilda and zelda see how upset she is so they decide to make her the perfect man out of man dough. sabrina takes him to the dance but is more interested in harvey. sabrinas date (chad corey dillan) and harvey get into a competative compitition and have a dance off wich harvey wins. sabrina and harvey then go and talk outside while hilda and zelda decide to make themselves a man, zeldas man turns out fine while hildas ingredients she used were out of date and her man turns out to be a rude inconsiderate dope.

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (5)

    • The fourth outfit for this episode's credits is a spashly 1960's dress of yellow, orange and brown, yellow go-go boots and a yellow headband in Sabrina's hair that is styled like the 1960's. Sabrina dances and says, "Feelin' groovy. Far out."

    • Music from this episode:

"A Girl Like You" by Edwin Collins

    • When Hilda and Zelda are racing downstairs, they take the stairs that lead directly to the living room. However, in the next scene, they are on the stairs that come directly into the kitchen.

    • The voice of Louisa (the picture on the kitchen wall) was provided by Caroline Rhea. Her voice was sped up electronically so it doesn't sound quite so recognizable.

    • When Hilda reveals her 'Dream Date' she clearly gets the sheet caught in her foot, and it ends up on the floor. However, in the next few shots it appears on the table, then on the floor, then on the table again.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Harvey: Do you wanna head over to the Slicery and to play a little foozball?
Sabrina: (In a very cheerful voice) Yeah, I love foozball! Sorry, I've been hanging out with Chad too long.

    • Libby: I don't think so. Come on Harvey, let's hit the floor.
Harvey: Actually Libby, I don't dance.
Libby: Excuse me? This is a dance, guess what we do here?
Harvey: Well you see for me, dance is sort of a metaphor.
      Libby: For what?
Harvey: I don't know, something else?

    • Zelda (looking at the Dough Man): One arm is shorter than the other - - Hilda! Have you been eating dough?

    • Sabrina: Why not ask Libby to dance?
Chad: Can I? I like Libby.
      Sabrina: You like Libby?
Chad: Sorry, I guess I'm starting to go bad.
