This is the second time that a Sabrina episode title used the word "Nose" instead of "Knows." The other time was Season 3's "Nobody Nose Libby Like Sabrina Nose Libby."
Sabrina: Oh, how cute! Little earrings shaped like otters. Harvey: I thought otter have them... Sabrina: Well, I think you otter start wearing your helmet during hockey practice. (she walks away) Harvey: MORGAN! (Morgan comes out from behind a bush) I thought you told me you would get a bracelet that would melt her heart! Morgan: I did. It turned out it melted mine... plus it matches my dress! (she pulls her sleeve back to reveal the bracelet)
Harvey: Would you mind if I make an announcement? Leigh Nash (Sixpence): Would you mind if I came to your house and sang in your shower?
Salem: Oh, you're up awfully early. Never a good sign. Sabrina: And you're home awfully early. Slow night? Salem: Ha, the usual. Cruised the alleys, knocked over a trash can, a flowerpot. Sabrina: Well I had a lousy night. I totally chickened out when I tried to tell Aaron that I love him but, fortunately, I've found the perfect coach to help me express how I really feel. Cyrano De Bergerac. Salem: The big schnosed wordsmith who always knows exactly what to say? Sabrina: That's the one, but I've found a spell for a slightly more personal version.
The group Sixpence None the Richer sings two songs: "Don't Dream It's Over" (a Crowded House cover) and "Breathe Your Name." Both songs can be found on their album Divine Discontent.
The title and plot of this episode refers to Cyrano de Bergerac, a verse drama written by Edmond Rostard about a guardsman and poet cursed with a long nose, who has trouble telling his love how he feels.
