When Salem, Hilda and Zelda were caged, Salem was small enough to fit through the bars and escape.
Sabrina says she has to put her books in her locker but she only takes out one book.
At the end of the theme song, Sabrina's quip to the audience is "I'm ready for my close up...do I have food in my teeth?
Sabrina can only do incantations for the week in this episode. This was assigned by her Quizmaster.
(At Merlin's Castle) Hilda: How did we get here? Zelda: I don't know... but I bet I know who's to blame. Both: SABRINA!!!! Salem: Oh, I'm sure she heard that.
Harvey I can hear my dad now. (imitating his father) Your nose runs faster than you do!
Sabrina: Hey Val, look! The Slicery's got a new management! Valerie: Wow, that's the first time this month...
(Sabrina casts an incantation and it starts raining inside the school) Mrs. Quick: Everyone outside... where it's not raining...
(Sabrina's incantation has turned Salem into a kitten) Salem: I found the fountain of youth! It's the toilet!
Zelda: There's no undoing a "no can undo"! It's a triple negative! It's magically ungrammatical!
Hilda: You really have to get it exactly right the first time, otherwise there may be side effects. I remember one time I was making rum balls and I got tired, so I made a make everything round spell. Well let's just say you can thank me for Columbus Day.
Sabrina: Even if I knew what I wanted to wear I couldn't pick it out of this mess. Oh it's full of kibble crumbs! Salem: Brush them in a pile, I'll eat them later.
Salem: Say Bob, have you ever wired a litter box for cable?
Bob Vila: So you just grab a chain and whack away. Zelda: After you. Hilda: It feels weird, I haven't even had an argument with this cabinet.
Libby and Mr. Kraft do not appear in this episode.
The scene where Sabrina and Val are making pizzas on their first night at The Slicery is very reminiscent of the classic I Love Lucy episode called "Job Switching". During the episode, Lucy and Ethel frantically scramble to be more efficient on their first day at a chocolate factory, much like Sabrina and Val scramble to be more efficient making the pizzas.
This title is a play on the saying "Oh what a tangled web we weave."
