Dongwa: You're just upset Won-Tom didn't pick you for his dance. Sagwa: What?! I don't think so. See you later.
Mean-Thing: Good-bye pitiful moon, and all who live here!
Moon-Maiden: Get this message to my friend, Jade Rabbit. He'll know what to do. Sagwa & Fu-fu: Oh brother.
"Dongwa's Best Friend" also oddly appears in online listings as "The Dongwa's Best Friend."
Lienne Sawatsky, Daniel Williams and Alan Silberberg all share the writing credit for "The Jade Rabbit." Lienne Sawatsky and Daniel Williams regularly tag-team for story-writing, while Alan Silberberg is also one of the Sagwa's two story editors.
In 'Dongwa's Best Friend', near the end of the story, an alley-cat named Ling was introduced. What were they trying to prove when they played a chime sound effect in that scene, I don't know.
In 'The Jade Rabbit', señora estúpida (a.k.a Tai-tai) was actually using her brains for a good cause. We almost never see her doing that in the series. Then again, since the story took part in Sagwa and Fu-fu's imagination...
In 'The Jade Rabbit', The Chinese writing on paper that the moon maiden placed in the mooncake actually says what the Jade Rabbit read.
The story in 'The Jade Rabbit' is not fabricated by the people at Cinegroupe/Sesame Workshop, but is acutally based on a real Chinese legend.
What about you segment: Kids talk about the moon, and we hear an old African legend about the sun and the moon.
