Episode Summary

The Sailor Scouts teleport to the North Pole in order to confront Queen Beryl and put and end to her evilness. The Doom and Gloom girls volunteer to "welcome" the Sailor Scouts and one by one they capture the scouts and bring them back to the Negaverse. All alone, Sailor Moon must now save Darien from evil and defeat Queen Beryl once and for all in order to rescue everyone and save the world!moreless

    Let get something straight. I love Sailor Moon, but I really dislike how this episode was done. It was too quick for me. It seem to be rushing to get it all in 30 minutes. If they had done like in the original version like in Japan where it was a two parter episode it would have been so much better. I really dislike how Serena acted as well. I know she a crybaby and that is one of things the things that make a more human charater but the way she cried here was really sad. She kept saying to go back every time one of the scouts got captured. That just ditching your friends. Again something else that would have been done better if they had kept to the original. Because in that verison the scouts weren't captured. They actually died. When Serena cries there it feels more natural and understanding. There is one thing they did well in this episode. In the final fight against Queen Bernyl, I love the moment when scouts help with Serena and the music song I do love. Still the episode could have been so much better if they didn't rush it and skip so many scenes.moreless

  • The Sailor Scouts go to Antarctica to stop Queen Beryl. But Beryl has hired the Doom and Gloom girls to stop them. As they get killed off one by one by those girls only Sailor Moon is left and all alone against Tuxedo Max, but stops him and Queen Beryl.moreless

    The Scouts are off to stop Beryl but she has the D&G girls try to stop them. They have an illusion making machine that makes them look like someone they love. Sailor Moon falls for it thinking they're Tuxedo Max and is almost killed! Jupiter is soon fooled and is trapped by the DGG's. She uses her thunder attack to kill one while the others survive and killing Jupiter. Mecury then leaves the others behind to stop the illusions and does, but at the cost of her own life! Sailor Moon is losing it and wants to go home and give up but Venus notices while she's complaining the villains are coming from underneath. She pushes Sailor Moon away from their clucthes and is taken under. Mars and Sailor Moon then run away until Mars decides to stay and stop the last two D&G girls. Mars then kills the last two and dies telling Sailor Moon to go on. Sailor Moon goes to Beryl's castle and fights Damien. She tries to bring him to his senses but he doesn't listen. She then brings out her star and he touches it and loses the evil within him and his life. Beryl the goes to her master and becomes superhuman. Sailor Moon and Beryl have their last fight and Beryl seems to be winning when the Sailor Scouts give their powers to Sailor Moon to defeat Beryl. Beryl dies and everything goes back to the way it was before the Sailor Scouts met. Luna and Artemis believe though that they will just have to meet again. This episode shows the powers of love and friendship conquer any evil!moreless

    this is one of my favorite episode's because they played 2 of my fav songs {Carry On} and {It's a New Day}. the battle was awesome because they defeted Beryl in one blow

    I'm just going to tell you to watch the original Japanese version of this epsiode which in reality was actually a two parter, you'll get the full dramatic benifit from it, this was one of the best climax's of a season I've seen. I didn't cry on this edited version because I sort of already knew that predictiably things would turn out alright in the end, but still my heart just sank seeing each of the Sailor Scouts sacrificing their own lives just so Sailor Moon can confront Beril. See each of them die is probably the most painful thing to see because I love and care about each and everyone of them. What was most painful for me was seeing my favorate character Sailor Mars getting killed, oh man I really felt like I was kicked in the stomach. And it gets worse once Serena confronts Darren. We see that Beril has done a terrible thing which was turn Serena's true love against her. We constantly hoping that somehow Serena will be able to save him, trouble is were not sure how. But she does it through her love for him, and she save her. And he does the same for her but at the cost of his life, which is sad.

    But it all comes down to one of my favorate fights ever in anime. When Serena turns into the Moon Princess and both a superpowered Beril and Serena have a magic war. The final outcome in that battle is great because it's love that once again wins against evil powers. It goes to show that love and friendship never dies, her friends and lover are always with her spiritually as well as physcially.moreless

    The season finale of Sailor Moon's first season all of Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus all travel to the North Pole to defeat Queen Beryl once and for all and serena will help darien is know as tuxedo mask and make him open his eyes to show that he is good not bad so they can be together like they were before in the past and be happy but the evil queen get's even more power and sailor moon has to stop her from conquer the world and serena and her friends must defeat queen bery to win.moreless
