original. alot more to see and stuff, altho the songs in the dub were great, ESPECIALY "Carry on" in the original they just played miricle romance, but with carry on you get the whole feel of her pain and lonelyness while fighting beryl. and "My only love" is a VERY beutiful love song

Of course that the Japanese version.
The dubbing changes too much; the names (why have they changed the names?! O_o), too many jokes are lost or cenzored, plus, they make a Magic Thingy and change the sexes of one too many characters (FishEye, Zoisite, Zirconia)

    The Japanese version of course.
Like kirke_novak said- the dubbing changes too much, names, sex, and of course the whole thing with Haruka and Michiru. I also felt that sometimes the voices in the English version were really bad. (Usagi's Super S voice annoyed me so much!) I was also disappointed with the change in Rei and Usagi's relationship. Sometimes when I was younger...I couldn't understand why they were friends because they seemed to hate each other so much at different times.

The Japanese version hands down. But the English version is pretty decent too, my only problem is in the English they make it look too much like a kiddy show. The voices, attacks, and originally everything from the Japanese is so much better, because it has stuff for kids, adults and teens to enjoy.

i lyk both but i think the japanese version is better just because they made it seem lyk a real show, the english dub was made for 7 year-olds.

Seen a lot of English episodes, but started seeing Sailor Stars and some specials in their original format. So I can't choose. I like them both.

Well, I wouldn't call NGE or GiTS for children but I see your point. I always prefer to watch the original version with English subtitles, even if this reqires more attention.

Now I know NGE is Neon Genesis Evangelion, but I don't know what GITS is.

You don't say?  However, I seriously doubt that DVD is an uncut version.  But that's just me.

I guarentee that if DiC got their hands on those series, they would have found some way to make it a kids show.
