One of my favorite movies from Sailor Moon. And also the return of Sailor, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto. Sailor Pluto is hot! The end had me at the edge of my seat, wondering "How will they win?" I loved it all the way to the end! About sixty minutes long.

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • This movie is the only time that Sailor Mini Moon uses the attack Moon Gorgeous Meditation.

    • When the scouts first see the black dream hole and Mars shouts "This can't be good!" you can hear Jupiter's voice shout "This is our wake-up call Scouts!" But it is actaully Sailor Uranus who is talking.

  • QUOTES (0)

  • NOTES (3)

    • Due to the fact that Pegasus is nowhere to be seen, it is reasonable to assume this takes place after the SuperS finale.

    • This movie marks the only appearance by the Outer Scouts (minus Saturn) in the SuperS season. Also, by some strange means, Pluto has been revived, though, in the first episode of the unaired season, Stars, Uranus and Neptune were shocked to see that she was alive again.

    • Some scenes that were cut from the original dub (but left in the Uncut Dub) include Serena spanking Rini to snap her out of a trance, the scouts losing their transformations (they are supposed to be nude, with the color of their auras), and the scouts initiating their attacks, (they were supposed to start to say the attack phrases).

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • The plot of this Sailor Moon movie is an allusion to the popular tale of: The Pied Piper of Hamelin.

The man who played the flute used his flute to control and lure the rats to the river where they all drowned. The Townspeople had promised him to pay him, but at the end they failed at their promise. The man left angrily, but returned later seeking revenge. This time, he used his musical magic to attract the children of the town and One hundred and thirty boys and girls followed him out of the town, where they were lured into a cave and never seen again.
