Saint Monica is a 2002 TV movie from Canada about a lonely girl who
lives with her struggling single mom. Ten-year-old Monica (Genevieve
Beuchner) wants nothing more in the world than to play an angel in her
church's annual procession. Then, her mother, Icelia (Brigitte Bako),
moves the household to a new neighborhood. Monica decides to steal the
angel costume wings instead, but quickly loses them on the way home.
Monica manages to track down the wings, which now belong to Mary (Clare
Coulter), a homeless woman who does not want to give them up.
