  • Another one of my least favorite episodes

Like #MyPoober, #PeezyB, #OscartheOuch, #Twinfection, #SecretSafe, #MommaGoomer, #MotorcycleMystery, and #BabysittingCommercial, I don't like this episode. Not as bad as the first five, but still not very good at all. For one thing, the That's a Drag show thing was stupid, just like Toilet Wars in #BabysittingCommercial. For another, Cat's obsession with the show was excessive. And the kid asking too many questions was just annoying. So was anything good about this episode? Well, it was sweet of Sam to give Cat the set from the show, the jab at TV spoofs with the spoof of the spoof of Apple was cute, but that's about it.

UPDATE ON FEBRUARY 1 (originally posted on last year on December 22): I'm changing my score again. I've done this for other episodes. I'm changing this from 3.5 to 1. Hence the rating drop from 7.4 to 7.2. I don't get why all the episodes of this show have good ratings. The episodes range from mediocre to terrible. Right now YayDay is the lowest rated episode with 6.6 but previously it was rated with 7.2 and my score was 5.5. I changed it to 1.

UPDATE ON FEBRUARY 2: Nick has an upcoming show called Breadwinners that airs in 20 days. Today I found the pilot on YouTube and showed it to my family. EVERYONE HATED IT! They all said it was the worst thing they'd seen in their lives. And that includes The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure (2012), Spider's Web: A Pig's Tale (2006), and Rabbids Invasion. So I won't be surprised when Breadwinners gets a 1.9 just like Marvin Marvin here at and Spider's Web: A Pig's Tale at IMDb. My Aunt said I should rate it as low as possible just to get the score down. Unfortunately, the lowest one can rate is 1, unless you are a prolific author. I have been working on that for months (6 plus months), so I can rate stuff like Marvin Marvin, Fred: The Show, and The Oogieloves a 0.0. Breadwinners is next on my "to rate 0.0 once I can" list.

UPDATE ON FEBRUARY 18: Breadwinners premiered yesterday. I have reviewed it. It's bad but not as bad as Sanjay and Craig.moreless
  • Sam and Cat: #Favorite Show

    Here are my thoughts,

Sam: A much better friend of Cat and is more promising on trying to be a great friend, good job for her.

Cat: Being very annoying slightly improving in her sense of humor but still not making a bit of good sense.

As a Whole Cast: Needs much more work and getting slightly better from the first episode.
  • Favorite Show

A bit of a step down from the pilot, but I do now see potential with the series. The humor is a step down as well from the series these two were spun off from, but I guess that was to be expected.

Again it's not bad, but it's not on pace to be another Nick breakout hit by any stretch.
  • Really Great Episode

So, the first regular episode after the premiere and I thought it was really good.

    - The two kids they babysat were hilarious xD.

    - It was fun seeing them go to that studio

    - Sam's method of getting the little boy down from inside the light xD.

    - Cat jumping on the man's car.

    - How this episode is CLEARLY Dan sticking it to Nick for cancelling Victorious xDDD.

    - At the end when the boy asks "Can I jump off the roof?" and Sam and Cat are like "YESSS" XDDDDD I almost died with laughter!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Sam and Cat watch "That's a Drag" they notice the characters using a Banana Computer "because you can't show a real Pear Computer on TV."

Of course, the Pear Computer is a running joke on all of Dan Schneider's shows.  The process of hiding a real trademark of a product on a show is called "Greeking."  The idea of Greeking is to avoid the use of a real trademark for any reason.  Although in some shows, the Greeking is done in hopes that the viewer does not notice, the running gag in Schneider's shows is how blatant and obvious the greeking is!
