Dena: Oh. Pish posh. Contretemps and dischord are always to be expected between friends with fiery natures. Samantha: You are going to stop talking like this when you've finished with your book, right? Dena: One does hope so.

Samantha: It's cold. Winston: We could be in Barbados by morning. Samantha: You know who likes the tropics and also bossing around people from Third World countries is my friend Andrea.

Samantha: (talking about Winston) How can I love him? Plus Andrea is in love with him. Regina: Oh, Andrea. She just loves him for his money. Samantha: So do you. Regina: Yes.

Samantha: (to Winston) I was out for eight days and when I woke up, I couldn't remember my name, or my friends, or liquid soap. I'm still a little fuzzy on what an REO Speedwagon is.

Samantha: (on the phone in the elevator with everyone listening) Hi Todd, it's me again. You know, in some countries it's actually considered rude to ignore messages after someone has left 20 or 30 of them. Maybe not as rude as pretending you and I had sex to get rid of your girlfriend, but close.

Winston: Samantha Newly, the day we've been waiting for is finally here. Marry me. Samantha: Screw me.

Andrea: I hate you, and I don't like your shoes today. And if you fell off the face of the earth, I wouldn't even care. Samantha: (crying) Good... there's more billionaires for me.

Andrea: It's not the money...I swear I would love him if he was just a millionaire. And he's getting divorced. Should I go for it? Samantha: Andrea, he is charming, good looking, rich and available. Samantha: You think you can just propose and then touch me. Winston: What's wrong? Georgette and I are through. Are you still with that boyfriend of yours? Ted? Fred? Samantha: Frod. Todd! No. Winston: Then there's nothing in the way.

Dena: Well, are you a heroine who's willing to risk everything she has to win the stable boy she loves? Or you're a heroine who just gives up and throws herself on some rocks. Samantha: Todd won't return my phone calls. There's nothing that I can do. Dena: (nods her head) Rocks.

Winston: Hello again, Sam. Samantha: Hi. You're just not used to hearing the word "No", are ya'? Winston: I hear it all the time. It's that little noise right before "Yes".

Samantha: OK, I mean you seem nice enough. So, why not? Winston: Are you saying you'll marry me? Samantha: No, I'm... No, I'm saying that maybe you can buy me coffee sometime. A cup, not a franchise.

Samantha: (to Todd) Uhmm, you said that you never wanted to see me again. I mean, what do you want me to do, sit around and not get married? (Todd grabs Samantha and kisses her) Narrator: Amber fire in his heart, the shy but smoldering stable boy yielded to the stunning blonde amnesiac. She was his destiny. Samantha: (to Winston) I smell cupcakes. Are you so rich you smell like cupcakes?

Winston: It was nice of your mother to let me take the rest of the potatoes home. Samantha: Yeah, she's gonna want that container back. Winston: Oh, okay. Samantha: And don't lose the lid, she really hates that.

Samantha: (on the phone to Todd's answering machine, while standing in line behind him) Just keep in mind that by now, I do know your routine... I know when you get your coffee, and those big, fat cinnamon rolls that you just love so much, but then you feel so guilty for eating them that you go and run off the calories in the park like a GIRL! Anyhoo...
