Sammy & Company, was a variety program hosted by song-and-dance man, Sammy Davis, Jr. hosted this Las Vegas style variety show. Sammy's announcer and friend William B. Williams, along with regulars Avery Schreiber, Kay Dingle, Johnny Brown and Joyce Jillson rounded out the recurring cast. Back again as musical director and orchestra leader was George Rhodes. Due to prior commitments and health issues, the first season was short. The second season began later than hoped for but Sammy had been hospitalized for neuritis and exhaustion in September 1975. On February 15, 1976, Sammy Davis' weekly 90-minute syndicated variety series, "Sammy & Company" was renewed for a third season by Syndi-cast Services. This would be the final season for the show.
