  • The parts are all put together, but could use some polishing...

Every show has to have a weakest episode. Well there you go, it's still a decent episode. Both the Woolies and the Chritchellites were rather awkward alien species. The woolies reminded me of the Banthas from Star Wars, and looked rather odd standing up (and fairly silly facial expressions, looking like the stupid animals the Chritchellites made them out to be). The Chritchellites are probably the most annoying enemies in all of the series. With 1 voice actor doing the voice of 100 different aliens (all in the same whiny Mandark monotone) was a little irritating. All in all I was happy when the episode was over.moreless
  • Jack the humanitarian

    8.5
The first real episode after the premiere and it's a commentary on animal cruelty and loss of freedom all at once.

Almost all the Jack eps are really good to great, but I believe this one had the most heart and showed us right away that Jack wasn't just a one-dimensional avenger.

And despite all the seriousness, we were still treated to the humor of all the bad guys talking in the same voice.

I don't really have much more to say on this one except it was very well done and ranks as one of the better episodes of Samurai Jack.moreless
