    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Jack has a small candle which he lights, he then pulls the other half over it. This then creates a flashlight effect. Wouldn't the candle burn through the material? And if it is fire-proof, wouldn't it just put out the fire? Besides, it wouldn't focus the light into a beam anyway, would it?

      • When the thief is going over the security laser beams, wouldn't the tails of his coat hang down and trip the alarm?

      • What is a janitor's closet doing in one of Aku's high-security vaults? Exactly who is the janitor?

    • QUOTES (1)

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (3)

      • The Maze:
Several of the Labyrinth puzzles seemed reminiscent of the Zelda games. In the first room, the laser statue resembled Zelda's "Beamos," a statue that shot a laser from its eye, and could only be damaged while the eye was open. Then in the constellation room, Jack first moved a statue over the floor block, then later refocuses the light on the eye above the door--two classic Zelda dungeon puzzles.

      • The Thief: Lupin The Third - Jigen
The Thief is a homage to Jigen on Lupin The Third, which is about four thieves working together to steal various jewels and artifacts. Specifically, Jigen wears a similar hat, has a similar beard style, a black version of the suit The Thief wears, and Jigen is also a gunman.

      • Mission: Impossible:
A lot of the action in this episode is reminscent of the "Mission Impossible" TV show and movies - there is even similar music.
