Warriors was a great episode of Sanctuary and I enjoyed watching this episode because we met Helen's father Gregory Magnus. There was also another interesting story line involving a friend from Will's past. The story of this episode has been done in other series, but it was still an entertaining version of this scenario. I thought there could have been more fight scenes. It was cool to see how Helen dealt with the sudden arrival of her father and how she got him back. Will made good on helping his friend. I look forward to watching the next episode of Sanctuary!!!!moreless

in trying to help will find an old friend Helen finds her father. he is totaly convinced that Helen is phsyco and that his name is charlie. he was used by the cabal to get to will. will is tranformed in to this huge fighting thing that is ready to kill his friend until Henry stops him. helen saves her father and he leaves but says that he will always be near. finding out her grandfather is not dead is alot for ashly to handle considering she recently found out that her father is Jack the Ripper and that her mother lied to her. qusetions: how did gregory survive this long? where did he go? and how was helen so sure that he was her father?moreless
  • Not the best episode but some interesting developments...

I most say I did not like the warrior storyline - it was starting so good - the amazing atmosphere, nice atmosphere, that talking and then the turning to the worse and to the main case - to the missing Will's friend.

And soon they find a man who Magnus believes to be her father - I most say I liked the storyline there. The way those flashbacks was featured. They were great part in webisodes and I was wondering when they are coming here. And now they are there - the whole mystic - the three generations together, great dialoges.

And the ending.. quite lame but what did you expect - they main storyline was quite plain and you knew Will will be all right.moreless

    • Charlie: You know, you got issues. Anybody ever tell you that?
Helen: We know that people gamble on these fights, and that abnormals are pitted against one another. Do the fighters die sometimes?
      Charlie: We all die sometime.
Helen: So you don't have a problem betting on these blood matches?
Charlie: Kill an abnormal, save a pit bull.

    • Will: Okay, favorite album.
      Ashley: Nevermind
Will: What, is it that personal?
Ashley: (laughing) No … Nevermind, Nirvana.
      Will: Oh …
      Ashley: You?
      Will: Joshua Tree, obviously.
Helen: Sgt. Pepper and Rhapsody In Blue.
      Will: That's two.
Helen: Over the course of two lifetimes. Gershwin played it for me while he was writing it.
Will: And no doubt you've watched the sun come up with the Beatles.
      Helen: Just one of them.

    • Helen: Is there anything out there?
Henry: Nothing inhabited, just a former awning factory.
Ashley: Can you say "Road Trip"?

    • Whitcomb: How compliant was this Beta?
Peralta: Uh, exactly what the Cabal had been hoping for, Ma'am.
Whitcomb: Submissive with his handlers, murder (Peralta grunts in agreement) on his opponents. The perfect field soldier for the cleansing.
Peralta: Right. Six months to reach peak performance. Train 'em in platoons. You'll have your army sooner than you think.

    • Charlie: Who are you?
Helen: I'm Helen. I'm your daughter.

    • Helen: Everyone who bled in that ring was an abnormal.
      Will: So Danny wasn't there?
Helen: Not the Danny you remember, in all likelihood.
      Henry: What does that mean?
Helen: His blood's been altered. They've changed him, or he's changed himself. Danny's an abnormal now.

    • (Helen reveals the DNA test results)
      Will: Father and daughter.
Helen: The only way that's not the man who made me who I am is if they used his DNA to create a new Gregory Magnus.

    • Helen: Do you remember the first time you took me into your laboratory?
Charlie: Hey, look, I'm sorry, but, uh, I'm not getting the antacid flashback you were hopin' for.

    • (discussing the captured Will)
Whitcomb: What about our rookie from the Sanctuary?
Peralta: He's been given every courtesy, for now.
Whitcomb: Ironic if he turns into something useful.
Peralta: Well, I can't see him going the distance.
Whitcomb: Just make sure he has the procedure first. Once the scarab controls him we can juice him into abnormality. With a little luck, he might give us an insight or two.
Peralta: Already been taken care of. Anything else I could do for you?
      Whitcomb: Smell better.

    • Danny: There's a time and a place, Will. This is my time, my place.
Will: You don't even know what it is they gave you, do you?
Danny: They gave me a front-row seat to the world.

    • Peralta: You think you're breaking up some fights? You have no idea who you're messing with.
Helen: You can pass the same message on to the Cabal.
(Magnus drops Peralta and puts her foot on his throat)
Peralta: (gasping) Ah! Ah-ah … What do you want?
Helen: I want these fights stopped, and the genetic experiments. You surface someplace else and we'll be waiting.

    • Helen: All signs are that your body has purged the abnormality. Danny's not far behind.
Will: I keep thinking, was that me, ready to kill a friend; or was it … somebody else?
Helen: We all have the impulse for violence. The true measure of a species, indeed, of a person, is in our restraint.
