  • One of the wildest and most freewheeling episodes in the series.

Another "Lamont is trying to move on" episode with his wedding day (they skipped over the girlfriend and courtship). Despite agreeing to Fred's demands (Lamont stay in the business, they live with him) Fred still doesn't like the idea. Does he not want Lamont to marry, or just not to this girl? Her family appears to be uppity which rubs Fred the wrong way, particularly the girl's mother, who appears to be domineering (which is why it doesn't make any sense that that woman would agree to her daughter living at the Sanford house). After she walks out on Lamont and they go back home the episode gets crazy, with all the relatives coming to voice their opinions and eventually wanting all of their presents back! Lamont kicks everyone out, much to Fred's delight, who doesn't like his late wife's family (and they don't like him).moreless
