    • TRIVIA (0)

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Pete Schweddy: Well, there's no beating my Balls. They're made from a secret Schweddy Family recipe. No one can resist my Schweddy Balls.

      • Margeret Jo McCullen: I can't help but, notice, Pete... your Balls are a little misshapen.
Pete Schweddy: That's because I rested them on a hot stove too long.

    • NOTES (9)

      • In the "Ghost of Hosts Future" segment with Jimmy Fallon, he's shown hosting on December 12, 2011. Though December 12, 2011 was not a Saturday, Jimmy Fallon did host the episode later that week on December 17, 2011.

      • Sketches/segments not shown in the 60-minute edit: Alec's monologue, the "Harlem Globetrotters" cartoon, Luciano Pavarotti and Vanessa Williams' performance of "Adeste Fideles," the first half of Weekend Update, and "Impeachment Hearings." The 60 minute version adds "Oops I Crapped My Pants" (rerun 9/26/98). The instance where Don Pardo announces Luciano Pavarotti and Vanessa Williams as the musical guest during the opening credits is skipped in syndication. Also in the edit, during the opening montage, the musical guest is not announced, and neither Pavarotti nor Wiliams can be seen during the goodnights.

      • In the book, "Live From New York," Baldwin said he muttered "asshole" under his breath when John Goodman flubbed a line as Linda Tripp.

      • The 60-minute edit bleeps out John Goodman's use of the word "hand job" in the "Bill Brasky's Buddies At The Airport" sketch. Goodman's original line was "He (Bill Brasky) gave a hand job to a manatee."

      • One of the SNL bumpers for this episode show Alec Baldwin dressed up as a woman.

      • The TV Funhouse for this episode where The Harlem Globetrotters go back in time to when Jesus was born and challenges Mary, Joseph, Jesus, and The Three Wise Men to a basketball game has been shown on a Christmas episode of the short-lived Comedy Central show "TV Funhouse" (in syndicated versions of this broadcast, the cartoon was cut).

      • Luciano Pavarotti was extremely difficult and not liked by the cast and crew. He demanded that he appear on camera only from the neck up, that his ice cubes be made of Poland Springs water, and that he be provided with a golf cart to travel from his dressing room to the musical guest stage (a distance of approximately 25 yards).

      • Pavarotti is perhaps the only classical musician to serve as musical guest (unless you count Philip Glass).

Members of the Philadelphia Boys Choir performed alongside Pavarotti and Williams, however, they were not credited until the closing credits.

      • Drew Carey was originially scheduled to host this episode, but he dropped out at the last minute.
