      • According to the Bob Woodward biography "Wired," John Belushi showed up at the after-show party for this episode several hours late, after most of the cast had already gone home. Belushi would be dead of a drug overdose six days later. He would be the first SNL cast member to die and the first member of the show's "Dead Pool" list. The list grew more or less proportionately, with one passing every six years until the double demise of Chris Farley and Phil Hartman in 1997-98.
