Did anyone ever figure out why Sudekis acted so strange at last season's finale?

I mean, I know it was a solemn moment, but if you rewatch it (as I recently did) he seemed almost upset about something. He was frowning from the START of the scene and wasn't joining in on anything, and then walked off the stage at the end while everyone was hugging and stuff?

If I didn't know any better, one would think him and Wiig had some kind of affair while working together or something.

Wiigy and Suds are good friends. I don't see why his behavior was a cause for concern.

When did I say I was concerned? I'm just curious, his behavior seemed very strange. You could say "well he was emotional at her leaving", but firstly, he seemed just as "upset" as somber/sad. Also, he was the only one acting that way (and other people definitely had some reason to be sad too, there was clearly something he specifically wasn't handling well). He even left the stage early after hanging out in the background specifically not singing along like everyone else was.

I think this definitely may be the reason for answer to your question Dirk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90qM0liO7NY

I am surpised no one has ever mentioned this incident on the forum.

I doubt that a vacation kayaking disaster had anything to do with it.

The whole thing with Kristen's departure fandango was weird and remains unresolved. We now know that Andy had already decided to leave and had probably told Lorne. Jason had been talking as if he was done with SNL for a year. Just before the new season started, he stated that he wanted an increased role on the show if he was to continue. Yet he did come back, apparently with no increased role. We'll probably never find out the whole story about his negotiations with Lorne, whether he was determined to leave after last season and was lured or coerced into delaying his decision, why he ultimately did come back for less than he wanted, etc. I do think that when he finally decides to go, he will be given a big bow-out of his own at Homebase.

Kristen, you will note, has been studiously silent about the whole thing since she left.

Andy is the one who got screwed. Or rather, all three of the Lonely Island crew. If they hadn't had the Digital Shorts to balance out the Kristen Wiig Weekly Telethon phase of SNL, the show today would be viewed as a moribund dinosaur on the verge of cancellation. SNL would be dead to the youth demographic.

I hope that Lorne someday gives those guys their due, because he will get to ride out his string to a glorious retirement as the legendary genius of SNL because they recreated SNL for the 14-20 demographic.

And they created a lot of sayings to put on stuff sold at Hot Topic. For some reason, like a boss has become tremendously popular more recently.

Sudekis dates Olivia Wilde? Damn! Had no idea.He should seriously back off though, because she's mine and I won't have other suitors getting in that way of that .

But yeah, doesn't sound like that would be the explanation either. Still, yeah, seems like his attitude probably DID mean something given all the hubub that was going on that season. Although I suppose my "affair with Kristen Wig" theory is probably not very spot on or anything .

Or it's completely nothing at all.
