That's...weird. I've never seen someone host right after serving as musical guest that SAME SEASON...

I found this surprising. I know he was on American Horror Story, which my friends were glad he died on.

This is not a show I am excited for.

    You're fine.

On a technicality, this marks the first time since Season 8 (thirty years ago!) that a guest was booked twice in the same season.

He's on the Voice with Christina Millian who was in Ghost of Girlfriends Past with Emma Stone who was with Bill Hader in Superbad.

When Bill leaves, I'm gonna be SOL with this game.

Smacks of desperation to have Levine host. An utter reach, and a bad one. However, with the writers and cast hopefully still fresh after a long holiday break, they will write/perform around, over and through this loser.

I wish I had a dollar everytime someone said a host was gonna be horrible that turned out to be good/OK.

Well, he can't be as bad as Robert DeNiro, right?

Point out the instances, sir. I think you'll find that that I'm generally pretty positive about SNL hosts. You just don't like it that I keep insisting that Seth needs to step down as Update anchor--and I am right about that.

If you're thinking of Martin Short, I said that I was afraid that he would work too over the top if he didn't have faith in the writing. I didn't say that he would absolutely suck.

Levine is just the kind of self-aggrandizing tool who will come in and think he can be another Timberlake right off the bat, and not listen to the cast and writers when they give him notes. In other words, another Adrien Brody. Will he be willing to lampoon his own image the way Katy Perry or Bieber or Lady Gaga were willing to do? I don't think so.

To be fair, Stuart said that about you. I was saying in general.

I'm actually not a big supporter of Adam Levine as a host. I dont see the guy as much of a funny man. Something about him makes me think he is gonna be pretty stiff out there.

I predict Drunk Uncle AND Stefon to be on Weekend Update. Stefon to talk about what he did for the New Year, and Drunk Uncle to discuss surviving the end of the world, among other things. I really wouldn't mind Jay Pharaoh doing Stephen A. Smith, maybe to talk about the Knicks and Nets or something.

I also predict a possible Californians, thought that feels like a long shot.

That was a misguided attempt at being facetious. I'm basing my expectations on his past work in sketches and short filmed pieces. God forbid we'll have another Brody.

I doubt Adam Levine has a set of writers that he'll bring to the show. To be fair, he might do a Jamaican accent before introducing the musical guest.

You're blending Brody with Tom Green (or perhaps Richard Pryor or Lily Tomlin).
