Anyone wanna bet they'll be a cameo from Tower Heist?

Hopefully He'll be better than his Focker Co-star

I Saw his syndicated SNL episode and was not that impressed myself.

I thought his first hosting stint was okay; the Lorne cold open and "Celebrity Jeopardy" are the obvious highlights. Too bad we had to wait 13 years to see Ben on SNL again.

I Thought he was in "Hot Water" for Skipping SNL Due to 9/11 but appeared on The Today Show during the same time.

In hindsight, it meant nothing. It was a difficult time, and if Stiller didn't feel up to it I can't blame him.

So I see you're still doing the random capitalization thing...

Definitely safe to say. It's been overplayed on the radio stations and I'm not fond of the song.

It could be one of those songs where it's so overplayed to the point where the band itself is sick of the song and won't play it. There were plenty of musical guests who were on the show while a song of there's was big, but didn't play the song. I'm thinking of Bobby McFerrin not doing "Don't Worry, Be Happy" when he appeared in Year 14. He probably hated that song more than anyone else.

It's a catchy tune, though the violent lyrics are a bit offputting.

I wouldn't raise my hopes. I don't think Eddie has a grudge against SNL so much as a) he has no connection to Lorne and b) Murphy perceives his work during the Ebersol years as juvenilia. In his eyes, SNL was part of Eddie's life 30 years ago, he hasn't looked back, and has no inclination to do so.

Well put, J-An. However, I was thinking more like old fingerpaints on the fridge, as opposed to art made later in life.

If they do manage to talk Eddie Murphy into doing a cameo, I imagine it being during the monologue, when they cut from Ben Stiller to somewhere else in the studio where Eddie is sitting down looking away from the camera for five seconds, and then an applause break.

If Eddie cameos I'd rather see Him Play Obama and Duel with Bill Clinton (Guest Darrell Hammond) or Sarah Palin (Tina Fey) being interviewed and 1 of the people is Eddie Murphy.

Or on update, Jay does his Eddie impression and Eddie meets him.
