    Called it with the Keys...

I watched the Theron episode from Season 26 a while back...Don't remember a lot about it, but that's probably because it skipped her more notable bits...Taking a quick look at the Archives, I can see she played Marilyn Monroe in that funny "Seven Year Itch" sketch and was the original third girl in Gemini's Twin...Overall, I'm willing to give her a second go, but I was still hoping for Sarah Silverman to be the one promoting "A Million Ways to Die in the West". Maybe next season...

I doubt Silverman will ever host. Call it Jay Mohr Syndrome.

Theron came out of nowhere. This almost feels overdue, considering she won an Oscar ten years ago.

Really? She says nice things about Lorne and her time at SNL. I figure they're just waiting for her to have a breakout TV or film role to have her host.

Mohr, on the other hand, could win an Oscar and Lorne still wouldn't have him host.

I find it amusing that you think Jay Mohr would do anything Oscar-caliber.

Maybe I'm being harsh on Silverman, but I think she's stronger at stand-up than sketch comedy. On the other hand, she's done some decent acting work here and there.

    Episode Predictions

Monologue: Theron reveals the secrets to her anti-aging...(As long as it's not bathing in milk, I'm fine...)

Sketches: Not much I can think of, but I was thinking maybe they can bring back Big Joe and cross over with "A Million Ways to Die in the West".

Weekend Update: Global climate change seems to be becoming a relevant subject in the last week, especially the CNN Crossover debate with Bill Nye...Maybe they can have Taran or someone impersonate him, or better yet, bring the REAL Science Guy to the Update table...I don't even know where he is right now, so maybe not, but still, it would be cool...

    First Musical Performance: Fever

    Second Musical Performance: Turn Blue

Cameo: Seth MacFarlane (and anyone else from "A Million Ways"), Bill Nye (probably not, but oh well) and maybe Maya Rudolph and Ana Gasteyer to bring back the original Gemini's Twin trio...(Maya can probably give her new show an early plug if nothing else...)

Ditto on MacFarlane. But here is my pick for a cameo you may not expect: Sean Penn. Why you ask? Because Penn & Theron are now a couple (They made their first official public appearance together at the Met Ball in NYC earlier this week).

First Lady vs Hilary gave me a chuckle or two not much going on there. Nice something original to the singing monologue.

Liked the "Girlfriends" sketch with Charlize as a fired drama teacher. "HBO First Look" about a former police officer being a voice in an animated movie was funny in an unusual way. That Nazim character in which she does those shooting sound effects was also pretty funny.
