Emma gets a second go-around, while Chris Martin et al. inch closer to five-timer status.

    yes! Yes! YES!

I love Emma and she was hilarious the first time. If she keeps it like this, she'll be turning into a five timer in no time. She may turn into the new Drew Barrimore.

I Don't think she'll be a 5 timer. I'd like her to be but I doubt she will. I think she'll host a couple of times and then drop off. Sarah Michelle Gellar for example.

She will be a 5 timer. Count on it.

    Both

I just don't think she'll be a 5 timer. It took Candice Bergan 15 years to be a 5 timer. Drew Barrymore took 27 years. Does Emma Stone have that staying power? Let me re-phrase that, would SNL have her host that many times?

I remember something awhile ago about a discussion of Dane Cook overtaking Steve Martin to host SNL the most, still waiting for a 3rd stint.

If SNL keeps having her on once a season, probably.

I'd rather wait to see if she hosts beyond this point, though.

What do you mean, youd rather they space it out? I would too. I like Emma Stone and all, but there are so many people they could have on besides re-curring hosts and old SNL members that I would like to see who it seems to be a lot this season (sans Jason Segel ofc). Im just saying that shes been on 2ce in 2 years and I didnt even think Stone was that popular of a celeb/host. If it was someone like Justin Timberlake then I could see, but. Even Britney Spears has hosted what like maybe 2 times? And shes been around since like 1997-8 or so and is still fairly popular Id say.

Her first single dropped in December 1998 and charted in January 1999, so close enough. It's hard to judge the merits of a great recurring host if someone has only been on SNL once before. I'm not against Stoney hosting again, but it's way too soon to be discussing five-timer status.

If Coldplay would've promoted the Clocks album on the show like they should have done, this would've been their fifth appearance on the show. Unfortunately this is only the fourth time. We should be talking about how close they are to being five timers instead of someone who probably won't come close to hosting that many times. I didn't even expect her to be hosting a second time.

You mean A Rush of Blood to the Head?

It's very possible that their hectic touring schedule prevented an appearance in Year 28.

I'm kinda pissed... all recurring sketches so far, even a recurring character in the monologue, and a terrible digital short. Wow...

Just wait until next week. Then they'll be lame.
