I heard HAIM was originally called FELDMAN until the other Corey died.

One random show right before Turkey Day? Hmm...

I wouldn't call it random...Obviously he is promoting the new Hunger Games movie...(I think they should work with that since this will be the Thanksgiving special...)

Having listened to HAIM's singles, I really like how they make their music sound like it was made in 1987...Kind of a shame that the song they will likely perform first, "The Wire", is the only one of those songs that sounds much more modern...It's good, but there's just something about 80s nostalgia...Either way, I should start paying more attention to new albums, because musical guests like this one can be hard to predict...

First-time hosts are always hard to predict. An unfamiliar face during a rebuilding season could land anywhere on the spectrum.

I read this thread before I saw the Gaga correction; having two live shows back-to-back makes a lot more sense now.

Like a Turkey Games combining Hunger Games but with Turkey's?

Since Abby is gone, Who will play Jennifer Lawrence? I'm thinking Noel maybe.

I believe that nationality is Turkish, Justin.

Noel is a little too slight to do a good Jennifer Lawrence impression. Vanessa would be the more believable pick.

    Episode Predictions:

Monologue: Perhaps something to do with his child star status.

Sketches: The Thanksgiving Hunger Games sketch mentioned before...Also, since today is the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Who, maybe another Celebrity Auditions sketch, and THIS one can span multiple generations of celebrities...

    First Musical Performance: "The Wire".

Second Musical Performance: I would say the two most likely candidates are either "Falling" or "If I Could Change Your Mind".

Cameos: MAYBE Jennifer Lawrence or Woody Harrelson, but that's hardly likely...

Jennifer Lawrence said on The Daily Show this week that she's going on vacation, so no cameo from her. I doubt there will be any cameos unless one of the Hunger Games cast happens to be in New York. Stanley Tucci lives in Manhattan, IIRC, so possibly him. The Hunger Games promo tour is over, though, so the rest of the cast is probably at home with their heels up.

Besides, they did a pretty funny Hunger Games sketch for the Jennifer Lawrence show without any HG cast cameos. I bet you that Vanessa could do a good Lawrence impression.

"New-Boss-with-the-Body of a Baby" was hilarious! Didn't think "Matchbox 3" film was all that.

HAIM is a Jewish-American indie pop band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of sisters Este Arielle (born March 14, 1986), Danielle Sari (born February 16, 1989) and Alana Mychal Haim (born December 15, 1991), along with drummer Dash Hutton, son of Danny Hutton and previously a member of the bands Wires on Fire and Slang Chicken.

Most frequently compared to Fleetwood Mac, HAIM's sound has been described as "nu-folk-meets-nineties-R&B"[3] and "music that sounds like it was written on a lakeside retreat attended by Stevie Nicks, John Waite and En Vogue". The band played at the 2013 Glastonbury festival, they earned a top ranking in BBC's Sound of 2013 poll, and signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation management group.
