Until I looked the musical guest up, I thought Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were a ventriloquist act.

No doubt "Thrift Shop" will be the first musical performance...

Is Kevin Hart going to turn the show into a straight up nearly racist mockery of black people like Jamie Foxx?

Uh, no? What would you have expected the mandarins of SNL to do about Foxx? He was an Oscar-winning black comedian, coming in with a couple of his own writers. Were the (all white) bosses of SNL supposed to get up in his grill, saying, "That Stepin Fetchit shizz don't play here, son!" They've got two black guys in the cast, and neither of them are, pardon the term, house negros. Did they complain?

Foxx did some "urban" humor sketches in his show that clearly came from him or his writers, and I laughed. I thought they were a breath of fresh air.

So did I. It reminded me of Eddie Murphy at his best...

If they have more than one song, I'd be surprised.

If they ever release another song, I'd be surprised. Thrift Shop sounds very one hit wonder.

Agreed. It wasn't exactly Martin Lawrence, J-Cav.

A comedian who isn't a household name hosting SNL. Never thought I'd see it happen again!

He hosted the MTV music awards so he's big enough and I'm sure that's why he got the call.

I love that sketch with Bobby and Cecily cutting down their co-workers.
