Had a chance to exit with class... But Garth and Kat.

Is it just me or does Seth have a cold?

So two-thirds of the first half of the show have been devoted to Wiig's most self-indulgent recurring characters.

Say what you will about Fallon but his hosting brought back only 1 Character. Wiig's got Gilly, Californian's, Garth and Kat, Lawrence Welk... and Target Lady.

Everyone this episode is what I had to watch every season she was on the show.

If this episode is submitted for The Golden Globes and wins... I will know for a fact they are bought and paid for. PS, I already kinda know they are.

Kristen Wiig is very love her or hate her, some people love her and others hate her, it would have been nice to get some new skits, but the writers this year have relied so much on old skits it's hardly shocking we got so many old skits.

Oh man, I cannot believe they're cramming in Target Lady too! This has got to be the most horribly tone-deaf suck-fest in the history of the show. Is there a mob with torches and pitchforks gathering in the Rock Center atrium yet?

Yeah, Threatening to burn it down unless Every single recurring Wiig Sketch air's. We can still squeeze in Secret Word, Penelope, Vogelcheck, Trina, Sue and Anne Margaret Does something.

Apparently you've been watching a different SNL than I have this season. They've been doing 80% new sketches and bits overall this season, and were averaging 90% for most of the first half (I've been tracking this). Wiig's show is a huge departure from the overall direction of writing this season. It stands way, way out as a terribly self-indulgent departure. They really did take SNL and turn it into the Kristen Wiig Show, and they are going to get ripped to high heaven for doing so.

Mark my words: come Monday people will be discussing if this is one of the ten worst SNL episodes ever.

I won't argue, I haven't been watching consistently, I just know The Californians has been done more than any other skit this season, I'm enjoying this episode, but I like Kristen Wiig, and a good amount of her characters, so it is of course a subjective opinion.

If it took a story about Root beer to get Cecily happy, I have stories that would make her marry me.

Dear Stu, Please at the end of your review, Compare it to Jimmy Fallon's hosting episode.

PS, This has NOT changed my opinion of Wiig in any way, shape, or form.
