On the other hand: They might have way to much ideas for the monologue or WU jokes about Miley until now.

Sounds like a Really?!? with Seth and Cecily

Maybe a "Really?!? with Seth, Cecily and Miley".

Could be a good "Really" segment if they just pick some of the people who had good advice for Miley within the last weeks (musicians, politicians, newscasters) and remind them of their own PR disasters. Should be easy to research and to write.

But enough about that. More likely they already have others plans to deal with the situation.

same.. it's 11:40pm here and the show hasn't started.. did they put a 30min delay incase miley does something stupid? or are they just cutting out the first 30 minutes for us?

Here, there was a college football game that ran 30 more minutes during the news slot. That's all...

Well, Ms. Cyrus seems to take her lampoon of her VMA performance in stride with Vanessa doing her next to her...

I'm guessing one of those times was when Bobby appeared naked on that wrecking ball...

Yes, and also when she said if she was going to apologize to anyone, it should be to the people who make the bottom half of shirts. lol

I'm still not convinced Cecily was the best choice. I mean Seth and Cecily have almost no chemistry together IMO.

Best part of "Weekend Update" was the "Winners/Losers" segment.

Hate to say it but Miley's performance was good and WU as well and Mrs. Strong is getting used to her new role.

I'm not going to spoil the Cheerleader sketch ending but I would've ended it differently. I'll post tomorrow afternoon my thoughts of it for fear of spoiling.
