Maybe this is reverse psychology. On paper, DeNiro hosting for the third time with P.Diddy as musical guest doesn't sound promising. Then again, Jane Lynch should've been an ace in the hole.

Would it be fair to say that DeNiro is the show's worst three-time host? It seems especially like a kick in the balls since otherwise, the season's host selections have been close to perfect. I'm not that much more excited about the musical guest. Is there a rapper more consistently mediocre than P. Diddy?

One could make a good case for Bob, but what about Howard Hessmann?

I was kinda thinking the same thing. He is def. one of the most annoying.

Isn't Dirty Money his new group or something?

Yes, it's his response to The Black Eyed Peas.

Did Deniro get better at variety or something? Otherwise, he shouldn't be hosting anymore.

I heard the last time he hosted he was horrible to work with. Anyone know anything about that?

Shortly after Bob's first hosting stint in Year 28, Beth McCarthy Miller was quoted as saying that DeNiro was the most difficult host she'd ever worked with.

Yet, they brought him back in season 30 and this season. Maybe Lorne and Marci like him.

As for the show itself, should we expect to seeBob doing another press conference where he lists off vulgar sounding names?

Hessemann was alright. His monologues in Year 8 were pretty funny.

Here's the Tuesday promo, folks. Surprisingly enough, Bob doesn't look stiff or uncomfortable.

Question is... how many takes did it require?

The Tuesday promo is one of the few things about SNL that is actually improvised. Plus, given SNL's tight schedule, I can't imagine they would spend more than an hour shooting these promos. You do make a point, though; Bob could easily regress to his anxious self by tomorrow night.
