Last night Tina Fey made the almost obligatory pre-SNL Late Night with Jimmy Fallon appearance. It was a good episode as it featured the recurring 6 Bee sketch as well.

SNL fans should check it out as there was a record six castmembers on last night (Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Tina Fey, Abby Elliott, Amy Poehler and Fred Armisen.) There's actually 7, if you count Steve Higgins, the announcer, who works as a producer for SNL

Actually, 8. You forgot Paula Pell.
You're right. And Fey said that there's a very good chance that she'll do Sarah Palin, so you can expect that as the cold opening. If that's true, is she only the second host to appear in the first sketch this year (after Jennifer Lopez) or am I forgetting someone?

I have a feeling it might have something to do with her new show on Fox News.

^ James Franco did during "The Lawrence Welk Show." Don't Worry, You're not the Only one that Wants to Forget that Horrible Sketch.

"Horrible" is a strong word. Middling and somewhat one-dimensional, yes, but not horrible. Plus, if you've ever seen the actual Welk show, the cast and writers do get most of the quirks down pat; some of the acts were downright creepy.

'Kay, the singing part I could've lived without. I can't even imagine what the actual music part of this episode is going to be like.

They just showed a longer length time-wise of that in black-and-white. I think I'll have some dreams about her for some time...
