    Uh, isn't that what I said? NBC is the most committed equity partner/content provider of and for Hulu. They're not going to change their online content provisioning model abruptly. That would be a Bad Thing. Hulu is taking a swing at the pay-for-play content model right now which has failed for EVERYONE except the Wall Street Journal. They are not going to impose a sudden pay-lockout on SNL right before the season premiere.

    I was referring to music licensing. Part of the reason why the season DVD sets were released at a trickle was because of ASCAP and BMI, and those copyright laws also apply to downloading. Since you're more informed on this than I am, I won't comment further.
