I haven't seen the trailer, but the MacGruber skits, although repetitve, are one of the funniest things going on SNL. A feature length parody of a bumbling MacGuyver may just work. I'll wait and see.

The Ladies Man, The Gumby Story (no, wait, that's actually a sketch about Gumby-Eddie Murphy-filming his life story with all the inaccuracies...)

I hope that doesn't happen. If so, Lord help us all.

On the bright side, the announcement of such a film would probably come with an apology.

Good point. I could see the trailer ending with a title saying "Gilly: The Movie," and a whole opening up with Gilly popping her head out saying, "Sorry." Apology not enough for it.

Well, apparently, the creators of McGyver don't want MacGruber making it to the big screen.

Thank You People who didn't let this Happen. It just sounds dumb IMO, Half the time, the Skits aren't even that funny and they're only 3 minutes at most.

I Don't like Forte or Wiig to be Honest. I think the last time they were in a Movie together, it was called "The Brothers Solomon."

Kind of unnecessary to post this.

That's not necessarily a bad sign. This means the studio has enough confidence in the film to release it in the early summer.
