    They showed the Palin rap?

Anyway, I'm sure the Needlers will make the extended cut on the DVD. I actually really liked those sketches. The one-liners were actually funny enough to make up for the recycling of the formula. Better than the similar Two A-Holes.

I never warmed up to "The Couple That Should Be Divorced," but yes, it was a glaring omission.

They were funny on the Steve Carell one and KIND of funny on the Natalie Portman one.

Tried to put the episodes when I knew them. Most of the time, the host of the episode was in the sketch.

A Nonpartisan Message from Sarah Palin & Hillary Clinton (Michael Phelps/Lil' Wayne)
    Bronx Beat (Jake Gyllenhaal/The Shins)
Valtrex commercial parody (Alec Baldwin/Christina Aguilera)
Kaitlin and Rick (Paul Giamatti/Ludacris & Sum 41)
Digital Short: Body Fuzion (Drew Barrymore/Lily Allen)
The Not So Great Adventures of the Down and Out Dollar (Topher Grace/The Killers)
The Dakota Fanning Show (Drew Barrymore/Lily Allen)
Weekend Update montage (Fey/Poehler title opening; Really?!? segment about AIG; ends with her goodbye from Hugh Laurie/Kanye West)
Amy Loves Justin (the first Justin Timberlake episode)
Turlington's Lower Back Tattoo Remover commercial parody (Lindsay Lohan/Usher)
The Bush Twins (the secret twins language sketch; Paul Giamatti/Ludacris & Sum 41)
I'm No Angel (pregnant Amy at a southern bar; Josh Brolin/Adele)

    Final montage:
    Monologue from Scarlett Johanssen/Bjork
    Sharon Osbourne on Celebrity Jeopardy
Michael Jackson on a Neverland coaster with lawyers
    Madonna auditioning on American Idol
The real Hillary Clinton meets her impression
Amber the One-Legged Hypoglycemic on Rock of Love
Her impression in the Christopher Walken family reunion sketch
Avril Lavigne impression on Fey/Fallon-era Weekend Update
    Kelly on Regis and Kelly
Skipper, Barbie's mother, with Britney Spears
Senator Barbara Boxer makes a lie volcano
    Paula on American Idol
Kim Jong-Il on Hugo Chavez' roundtable talk show
Appalachian Emergency Room with Neil Young
That reality show winner who spouts catchphrases like "tranny" and "hot mess" giving Casey Wilson fashion advice
Nancy Grace ("I intended for my hair to be this shape")
Dorothy from Wizard of Oz rips off a Lollipop Guild member's legs from under the house
Sharon Stone helping build a house in New Orleans, being interviewed by Anderson Cooper (Steve Carell/Kanye West)

My DVR cut off halfway through that last clip, so there's probably more.

In that final montage, they also showed a sketch from 01-02, from the Kirsten Dunst/Eminem episode, about background actors, Will and Amy play a couple over-acting in the background while the main actors (Dunst and Chris Kattan) perform a scene. I wish they played that full sketch rather than Bronx Beat. I wish I had watched more of 01-02 season at that time. The 60 minute version that I saw on E! a couple years ago was fantastic, makes me want to see the full 90 minute version.

Does anyone know from which episodes the impressions of Kelly Ripa and Paula Abdul are from?

Weren't there more impressions in the final montage after the sharon stone one?

Also, is the Neil young impression from the kevin spacey episode in 2006?

the PAula Abdul impression was from the Molly Shannon/Linkin Park broadcast from 2007.

That was actually Neil Young himself. He was the musical guest that night: Jack Black/Neil Young (12/17/05) thats where that Appalachian Emergency Room is from.

Very sad day, indeed. Stu, I wasn't really into the news back then, but did SNL make fun of Farrah Fawcett after she was diagnosed, or right before?

    Poking fun of leukemia? Seriously?

Fawcett and Jackson both made headlines in the tabloids, but the King of Pop was far and away the bigger punching bag on SNL. Funny thing is, Poehler impersonated both stars. Where Fawcett was parodied as being flaky and disoriented (her 1997 appearance on Letterman is an all-time train wreck), MJ was the gift that kept on giving.

Well, they said she was diagnosed in September 2006, and they spoofed her on September 30..

Yes, but her diagnosis wasn't revealed until later in the year. The Farrah that they spoofed in that sketch had more to do with the Letterman incident.
