What do you guys think of the earth quake in Haiti?

Do you think the golden globes were okay?

    Anything else

I commented on the Haiti situation in my blog. Just click on my name, than click on "Weekly Update #239," and you're there.

As for the Golden Globes, they're amusing, but it's not the most accurate indicator of what will happen on Oscar night. Sure, Mo'nique is now the clear frontrunner for Best Supporting Actress, but I doubt "The Hangover" will get a Best Picture nod.

I watched all four hours of "24" last night. Jack and Chloe are back in action! And it looks like Renee has gone to the dark side...

I didn't watch the Globes. I'm tired of award shows frankly. I was watching 2 movies. Besides, no one I like was nominated.

I was glad Sandra Bullock won Best Actress-Drama for The Blind Side, The Hangover won Best Picture-Comedy or Musical, and Avatar won Best Picture-Drama and Best Director-James Cameron. And how touching was it seeing Robert DeNiro and Leonardo Decaprio present Martin Scorsese with the Cecil DeMille honorary award. Oh, and host Ricky Gervais was pretty funny especially when he mentioned possibly being replaced by Jay Leno!

What did you think of Conan's last episode on the tonight show?

Colts vs Saints, did you see that coming?

The Carot Top's final "Tonight Show" was a great ending for a too brief 7-month run and my commentary on that show's content is already on that site's forum. As for the next question, I'm just glad that I got to watch the final field goal in overtime of that New Orleans football team's final playoff game at the store I worked at on the TV screens displayed there. Actually, I saw the replay after hearing some enthusiastic screams a few yards away...

    I enjoyed it.

I'm just glad that that evil trader Farve's team isn't going.

    Mark would be proud.

I also enjoyed the final Conan. Too bad the ending was cut off, though.

I saw it. Since about October, actually. Was worried in the NFC Championship, but I remembered Favre owed me an interception.

Hey, anyone here watched the final season premiere of "Lost"? Okay, spoilers warning if you haven't: Juliet dies in Sawyer's arms, Charlie is arrested in the rebooted beginning of the plane landing safely at LAX, and back on the island, Sayid comes back alive after being declared dead. Can't wait for the next episode and the rest of the season!

Nobody stays dead on that show, do they?

I don't watch anymore, but I was told Locke is dead. Maybe he'll stay 6 feet under.

Last I heard, Locke was alive again. Or maybe he's a cyborg, I don't know.

Actually, Locke is dead. His body is now inhabited by someone referred to as a Man in Black.

That, or Locke is a secret agent fighting alien invaders. With Lost, that could actually work.

The one with Leno, Oprah, and Letterman was a hoot...
