The Armando Show is an hour-long improvised comedy show inspired by an audience suggestion, which the celebrity hosts interpret through a personal and truthful improvised monologue. Inspired by that monologue, a cast composed of veteran Chicago and Los Angeles alumni perform scenes that, in turn, inspire a response from Armando. This propels hilarious interchanges between Armando's monologues and the company's scenes.

The cast includes Dan Bakkedahl (Daily Show, 30 Rock), Frank Caeti (MAD TV), Betty Cahill (SNL), Mike Coleman (The Factory),Josh DuBose (Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip), Molly Erdman (According to Jim), Thomas Fowler (Joey, World Cup Comedy), James Grace (Super Troopers), Dave Hill (La La Land), Jessica Makinson (Halfway Home), Seamus McCarthy (The Tourist Trap), Jason Pardo (The Brothers Solomon), David Razowsky (Roseanne, Working, Second City Mainstage), Zabeth Russell (Mystic River), Douglas Sarine (Ask a Ninja, Monk), Brian Shortall (In Treatment), Brandon Sornberger (Bodega), Miles Stroth (Global, Inc.), Jean Villepique (30 Rock, The Office).

    Reservations are strongly recommended.

LA Times reviewer F. Kathleen Foley describes the performance by saying, " …this free-associative repetition melds into Zen-like flights of fancy…."
This show is the reason to see live improv in Los Angeles.

    Several comments:

First off, it's Betty Cahill now? On SNL she was Beth.

Secondly, I just thought I'd point out that Seamus McCarthy was at Second City Las Vegas at the same time as Jason Sudeikis, which was around 2000-01.

Thirdly, you can brag that Tim is appearing for one night only at IO West, but here at IO Chicago (where I'm taking classes) we practically own the guy. It's just a question of when Uncle's Brother returns from hiatus.
