January Jones, you are officially off the hook as Gabourey Sidibe has replaced you as the worst host of the season. The Precious star did not generate a single laugh and her arms, which look like sandbags that high school wrestling teams train with, scared little children who may have been watching this. Cold Opening: A weak, pointless Presidential Address from Armisen's Obama. Monologue: You'll probably be humming the "She's Gabourey" song until Monday morning, but I do not expect a strong showing from tonight's host. Hopefully I get proven wrong though.
The Suze Orman Show: Wise to start this show with your go to star, Kristen Wiig. Sidibe already stumbled about four times during this sketch.
Who Wants to be a Millionaire: Guest host Steve Harvey (Kenan Thompson) struggles to pronounce basic words, and then the difficult Icelandic volcano. Not a bad little sketch.
Digital Short: A Star Wars/Matrix esque battle over a cherry. Yes, Lorne Michaels will let Andy Samberg do anything he wants at this point.
New York Porch: Kenan and Fred are two typical New Yorkers sitting on a porch while an angry old woman (Gabourey Sidibe) yells at them. This felt like a bad In Living Color sketch, except on that show you would've gotten a few laughs from Damon Wayans in drag. Frank Sinatra: Very similar to the cop show skit from last year where they all talked with a stereotypical accident. Another dud. Weekend Update: And Judy Grimes is back. Not the funniest Wiig character, but it is always amazing how she speaks so quickly. Bill Hader, who is usually pretty good at not laughing during his sketches, went all Jimmy Fallon here, which was surprising as his character was not particularly funny. Just found it odd that this is what broke him. John Mulaney, don't quit your day job. Disability Awards: One of the worst sketches in years. Seriously. Just a train wreck. Alarm Clocks: The annoying Hispanic Jenny Slate character is back. People like this for some reason. Hamilton: The return of Will Forte as the bizarre ex-boyfriend, last seen in the Drew Barrymore episode. Not clever like it was last time just really awful.
