    Poor Josh Brolin. Now that the season is nearing its end it seems the writers are completely running out of steam. It was already apparent in last weeks episode. I was hoping SNL would bounce back, like they often do after bad episodes, but sadly that was not the case.



    I would say Josh Brolin is a very talented man, but nobody could have saved some of these sketches (The Californians, The Slow-Mo Hallway). The only time I actually laughed was during Weekend Update. Let's hope they have some good material for Eli Manning, because he needs it.



    PS: Taran Killam is becoming the MVP for me.

    I agree, Josh Brolin did not reach his full potential. He was better the first time he hosted, but I don't blame him. I think the writers didn't come up with anything for him. A couple of chuckles with "The Californians", Taran Killam's portrayal of Piers Morgan and Gotye was a worthy musical guest....but other than that the episode fell flat.
