      • Sketches not shown in the 60-minute version: "Savin' It," "The Crocodile Hunter," "Nadeen at Augustus General," "E! Fashion Week," and DMX's performance of "What's My Name."

      • Julianna Margulies was the third cast member from ER to host SNL.

      • The Tootsie Roll/Erectile Dysfunction Ad sketch has a different ending in the 60-minute rerun versions.

      • Chris Kattan had no one but himself to blame for that huge wad of pie Julianna Margulies spit into his mouth during the "Regurgitating Family" sketch. During rehearsals, Kattan jokingly snapped at Margulies when she didn't spit enough food into his mouth. "You better do better next time," Kattan warned her. She did do better during the live broadcast, depositing an extra large chomped chunk of a McDonald's apple pie in his mouth.

      • The "Regurgitating Family" sketch was almost cut after dress rehearsal because Will Ferrell, Chris Parnell, and Julianna Margulies could not perform the sketch without laughing. Ferrell and Parnell held it together during the live show, but Marguiles broke when Ferrell choked on some food.

Nevertheless, "Regurgitating Family" is considered one of the rawest gross-out sketches ever performed on SNL. How it slipped under the censors' radar is anyone's guess.

      • This is one of Chris Parnell's favorite episodes/hosts.
