Recurring Role |
Former cast member Robin Duke can be seen in the audience during the "Pee-Wee's Thanksgiving" sketch.
This is only the second episode of SNL where the host doesn't play a character or do a celebrity impersonation (in other words, Paul Reubens plays his alter ego Pee Wee in every sketch he's in). The first episode aired in Season 9, with Don Novello as Father Guido Sarducci.
Don Novello appears as a featured player for the first time since May 17, 1980.
First, a severely edited version of this episode appears on the videotape "The Best of Saturday Night Live 1985." Second, future cast member Phil Hartman receives a credit as a guest writer for the Thanksgiving sketch.
