  • Leftovers? If the leftovers weren't tasty, was the dinner any good?

I was really looking forward to watching this episode. Watching the episodes with all the different holiday sketches is always fun. But not this time. There were certain skits I was really looking foward to seeing, such as Vincent Price's Thanksgiving Special. But the Thanksgiving skits I really wanted to see weren't even on. Instead were these stupid family skits, and Jarret's Room. Whoever put this together really should have rethought the line-up. I wasted my time tuning into this. I should have put in a movie like I originally planned. I'm giving this a 5 because there were only a handful of skits I enjoyed. I count 5 I liked, while the rest made me roll my eyes. Now I probably could say more, but won't. They could have kept this. Funny is not a word to describe it. Okay might be.moreless
  • The writer's strike has us seeing repeat work and it is giving us a best of on sketches with a Thanksgiving theme.

This was a great episode. I have seen maybe half of these skits. If you are a serious fan, you will likely have seen most of these sketches. It spans the whole run of the show. So, we get a taste of each generation of comics. I liked seeing people such as Chris Rock in his earlier years here. A gross one that hit me was with Julianna Margulies seeing Wil Ferrell feeding his kid like a bird. She also was making a smirk when she was playing a serious mood. Basically, we are seeing a Thanksgiving themed episode. It got me over for the week on humor.moreless
