Throughout the "Returning A Sweater" sketch, Garry Shandling kept breaking character, ad-libbing and addressing the camera. This is a wink and a nod to when he constantly broke the fourth wall on It's Garry Shandling's Show.

Jon Lovitz has a false start in his rap before he "appears" on camera. This is fixed in all reruns.

When describing the other guests at the Star Trek Convention the host gestures to, and refers to, Victoria Jackson's character as the "lovely actress Julie Cobb" who appeared on the episode where she was reduced to a cube of dust and crushed. Julie Cobb, daughter of actor Lee J. Cobb, is indeed the actress who played her in the episode "By Any Other Name."

When this episode first aired in the Mountain and Pacific time zones, the live "Ed Grimley Meets The Devil" sketch was replaced with the dress rehearsal version. In the live sketch, the tilted photo gag was botched and the director kept cueing the wrong camera. The dress version would also be used in repeats.

In the "Krypton Survives" sketch, the phone rings even after Sam Kinison picks it up.

Sigourney Weaver stumbles on Buster Poindexter's name and restarts her introduction to his second number in the live broadcast. This is corrected in reruns.
