Tony Vallencourt (Adam Sandler) remembered beating up on Laker fans during a Celtics/Lakers game in 1984. Bur when he reflected on a Celtics/76ers game from 1981, he said he reencountered those same Laker fans and shaved their heads. "P***er? I think so, pal."

At the end of the "This Week with Davd Brinkley" sketch, the pretaped angel and devil Bob Doles did not say "Live from New York..." in sync with the live Dole. This mishap was corrected for all reruns.

During the "Zagat's" sketch, Chris Farley's clip-on earring falls off, and even though he puts it back on, it falls off again later in the sketch.

NBC had covered Super Bowl XIII back in January 1979, and a portion of the telecast was extracted on SNL six days later. The producers had to re-acquire footage from that game from NFL Films for the "Sports Beat" sketch, as the network rights had long since lapsed. Other video highlights used were Bill Mazeroski's 1960 home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to victory over the Yankees and Hank Aaron's 715th home run to pass Babe Ruth on the all-time list.

In the "Scottish Soccer Hooligan Weekly" sketch, when Mike Myers' character looks at his wrist and says he has a court hearing in 43 minutes, he isn't wearing a watch.

During the "Rookie Cop" sketch, the hoses in the actors' sleeves used to simulate vomiting occasionally drip "vomit" prematurely.

During the "Funny Strange" sketch, when Chris Elliott confronts his twin brother, you can tell it's just staff writer Fred Wolf in a blonde wig.

In Adam Sandler's "The Chanukah Song," it is mentioned that Rod Carew converted to Judaism. According to his autobiography, he married a jewish woman but never officially converted.

During Weekend Update, Gil Graham (Adam Sandler) does a guest commentary on the hottest concerts of the summer. When Gil's done, Norm says, "Adam Sandler... Adam Sand- Gil Graham, I'm sorry. Gil Graham."

During the Clinton Auditions, Chris Elliott flubs and calls Dave Wilson "Hal." Hal Gurnee was the longtime director of David Letterman's talk show, which Elliott appeared on.
